Non contact measurement method introduces no pressure drop, energy loss or wear and tear. TRANSIT TIME: Time difference between ultrasonic wave passing downstream to upstream is different. Measure speed difference based on sound wave propagation.

CROSS CORRELATION: Measure flow rate based on phase shift time when two signals are transmitted from upstream and downstream. Difference in travel time indicates flow rate. DOPPLER SHIFT: Frequency change due to reflected signal from moving molecules. Integer multiples of frequency changes calculate flow rate.
